My name is Richard Pastor and I wrote a book called A Texas Cowboy in Tuscany. It is a FICTIONAL account of the first efforts to create an American Chianina crossbreed.
On a recent visit to Italy I visited a cattle ranch in the Siena area and became fascinated with the breed. Being raised on a ranch in California I have always respected the profession so after some research this incredible story virtually unfolded by itself and I simply put it to paper.
I thought that your members would find it fun and exciting to read. Please advise anyone who reads this book that it contains ADULT themes and may offend some people. Also I want to stress the fact that I have created this story and many facts may not be accurate so I ask that they be accepted in the literary sense and be overlooked in the spirit of entertainment.
